Weddings don't last very long - it's the one time in your life when you are surrounded by all your friends and family all together in the same place. You're getting ready, getting married, dancing. drinking, saying hi to everyone, and before you know it, it's time to go on your honeymoon. This image was made at Amy and Kevin's wedding on Martha's Vineyard right at the end of the night. The band was packing up, the lights were back to normal and people were hopping in their cars and on the shuttle busses to take them back to Edgartown. It's that last embrace. That last embrace before you part and don't really know when you'll see each other again. You live on opposite sides of the country, she's got a newborn and is starting her family on top of her crazy job, you're launching your own interior design business... you really don't know when you'll see each other again. better make that last embrace a good one.
