Wedding on Chapel Island on Squam Lake in New Hampshire :: Peak Experience

Love is everywhere. For some reason people feel OK about letting it come out a little bit more at weddings than in daily life. Some of my favorite images are of couples at weddings caught up in the romance of the day and, possibly, reliving the special memories they made on their wedding day. This image is of John Cadoux [founder and owner of Peak Brewing Co.] and his beautiful wife Vanessa. The guests had arrived on Chapel Island in the middle of Squam Lake by shuttle boat. The island itself is barely a hundred yards wide and all that is there are a set of benches and a cross made of birch bark... the perfect place for a little pre-ceremony smooch.
